Cork Harbour Islands Project (C.H.I.P.) will hold their next Exhibition ‘Cobh 1911 & 2011’ from 27th August -3rd September, 2011 in The Courthouse, Arch Buildings, Cobh (straight across from the Library). This Exhibition will be a view of Cobh (both photographic & text) in 1911 and 2011 and the changes that have occurred in the town in the ensuing hundred years. The Official Opening will be held at 2pm on Sat 27th August and the Exhibition will be opened by Cllr. Jim Quinlan, Mayor of Cobh.
We would like to cordially invite all to come along to the Opening Ceremony to see the fascinating material on show of what the town looked like over 100 years ago and the happenings of the day.
The Exhibition will run to 3rd September, 2011 (closed Sun 28th & Mon 29th August) -Opening times 10.30am-4.30pm
