To mark national Drugs Awareness Week 2010, the Cobh Drug and Alcohol project is organising an Alcohol free DISCO this Wednesday night from 7.30pm to 10pm in the GAA Hall in Cobh. The event is for 12 to 15 year olds and tickets for it cost €5 and these are available from the secondary schools in Cobh or from Cobh YMCA at 8, West Beach. The message for Drugs Awareness week is about ‘Getting High on Life’ and having a great time without drugs or alcohol. The DJ for the night is Philip Bourke from RedFM, so get your tickets and come along.
