METROPOLE HOTEL CORK GEARS UP FOR THE GUINNESS CORK JAZZ FESTIVAL 2019

The Metropole Hotel in Cork, which is the home of the Guinness Cork Jazz Festival has launched its 2019 programme. The hotel’s weekend program includes over 50 acts over four days from Friday 25th to Monday 28th October. Big name acts include the New York Brass, Pixie & The Gypsies, NC Grey and the Hyde Park Brass Band.
Roger Russell, General Manager at the Metropole Hotel Cork said: “We are so excited about the Guinness Cork Jazz Festival this year. The Metropole is truly the heart and soul of the Jazz Festival with it all starting here. We have four nights of jam packed jazz entertainment at the hotel. Just like last year we also have a very special VIP package for jazz enthusiasts. We are very proud of our association and tradition with the Jazz Festival, which is always one of the main highlights of the year in Cork.”
In addition to this, visitors can enjoy the exclusive VIP Jazz Platinum Lounge in the Beckett Suite at the Metropole Hotel Cork at this year’s Guinness Cork Jazz Festival. They will experience smooth jazz sounds in an intimate seated venue perfect for the discerning jazz lover.
The Platinum Package includes a bottle of Moët & Chandon Champagne served to your table on arrival with Chef’s Charcuterie Board, tapas and oysters. The hotel will offer table service drinks until midnight so you can sit back and revel in the Jazz. Afterwards, guests will enjoy access to the multi-room entertainment of the Metropole Hotel Cork, which is transformed into the home of Jazz for this year’s Festival yet again.
The Metropole Hotel Cork is part of the Trigon Hotels, which has 334 guest rooms across three hotels in Cork. The group comprises of the Cork International Hotel, The Metropole Hotel and the Cork Airport Hotel.
