Join us at Fota this October bank holiday weekend and Halloween day for our Halloween Creepy Crawl – a family fun, self-guided Halloween Ramble around the Arboretum and Victorian Working Garden.
Did you know that every Halloween the Fota Gardens play host to more than just the trees? On those dark days we witness the arrival of the creepy crawlies who get up to all sorts of mischief with their friends in the pet cemetery and the Victorian Wicked Garden….
Costumes are especially encouraged on this daylight adventure at Fota’s Arboretum and Victorian Working Garden. If you survive, come back to the House and pick up your treat by the open fire. The Bakestone café will also be at Fota serving creamy hot chocolate and wonderful treats to warm you after your ramble.
The Halloween Creepy Crawl runs on Saturday 26th, Sunday 27th, Monday 28th and Thursday 31st October from 11am to 3pm daily. Tickets are €5 per child and adults go FREE! Just walk in to our welcome desk to get your trail map & pencil.
By enjoying our ramble, visitors are contributing to the ongoing restoration and conservation of Fota House, Arboretum & Gardens which is owned and managed by the Irish Heritage Trust charity. The Arboretum is cared for by our friends in the OPW.
For details on all our events, visit us at www.fotahouse.com or call 021 4815543.
