Saturday 2nd October – Spike Island – Song Writing Workshop – 5.30pm – 8.30pm – Cobh Youth Services are running a Two Day Music/Song Writing Workshop for 17 – 25 year olds on the 2nd & 3rd October 2010.This will be run by Cork Artists the Frank & Walters and Ken Cotter Singer/Song Writer. This workshop is run to develop an Artist in the Local Community. It will be held in Spike Island which has r…ecently been “released” to the people of Cork County. We hope that this historical venue with so much history will inspire the Artists in their participation in this Music/Song Writing Workshop.

Saturday 23rd October – Fota Wildlife Park – Join the Primates at Fota Wildlife Park in celebrating the Cork Jazz Festival. Live Music each day from 3 – 5pm with Jazz Vocalist Amanda Neri on Saturday and Cork Jazz Legends “The Swing Kings” on Saturday and Sunday. We will also have Fun activities including making monkey masks and face painting. There will also be talks in the park each day on the Primates.
