Jack Gilmartin’s next tour of the Old Church Cemetery in Cobh will take place at 2.30pm on Sunday 29th June and on the last Sunday of the month throughout the summer. The cemetery has over 11,000 burials recorded including victims of the Lusitania, boxer and entertainer Jack Doyle and the surgeon appointed to Napoleon on St. Helena.
This tour is widely regarded as being both fascinating and entertaining due to the unrivalled knowledge and witty style of Jack. Not to be missed by anyone with even a passing interest in the diverse history of this graveyard.
