Cobh Pirates were delighted to be part of this years Cobh Regatta. For those who missed out, we had a stall allowing people to throw sponges soaked with water at players of their choice. This, while generating much needed funds for the adult teams, brought great enjoyment to all who had a go. We would like to thank the committee of the regatta for giving us “our spot” and look forward to making it an annual event.

On the juvenile front our tag tournament is growing by the week and the finals will be played on Saturday 28th August from 2 pm onwards with a bbq to follow. Entry into the club will be free with a free bbq for all the juvenile players. This will be a fun filled family day with enjoyment and entertainment for all the family. Also taking place will be a Junior1/2 game between Cobh and Old Christians. This will be the first outing of the season for both teams so its well worth a look.

The juvenile flag day takes place this coming Saturday,21stAugust, at various locations around the town.
