Captain JimThe Board of Cobh Tourism will be flying Cobh’s flag high at this year’s Holiday World Show at the RDS in Dublin on the weekend of 25th – 27th January.

This popular event is a one stop shop for anyone looking for information about exciting holiday destinations, including Ireland. Over 22 counties will be represented at the show, promoting some of Ireland’s best holiday spots. Cobh Tourism Board member volunteers along with members of the Cobh Animation Team will be promoting all that our great town has to offer.
The Cobh stand at Holiday World is one of a number in the Ring of Cork cluster of stands that includes the Titanic Experience, Cobh Heritage Centre, Fota Wildlife Park, Curraheen Park Greyhound Stadium, the Quality Hotel Youghal and the Carrigaline Court Hotel. Ring of Cork is the brand of South and East Cork Tourism that markets East Cork, Cork Harbour’s environs and Ballincollig.

Cobh Tourism is a member based organisation that is making determined efforts to market Cobh and seeks to influence policy decisions that impact on tourism. It also organises many events in the town including the annual Lusitania and Titanic commemorations, garners considerable publicity for many Cobh activities and events and runs the very successful Cobh Tourism Ambassador Programme.

Virtually every business in Cobh benefits from an increase in the number of visitors to our vibrant and welcoming town. Cobh Tourism would welcome your support in their efforts to promote Cobh as a tourist destination of choice. To become a member, contact Hendrick Verwey via the “Contact” page on www.visitcobh.com or speak to Paul O’Halloran, Hendrick Verwey, Jim O’Rourke or Pat O’Shea.
