RTÉ and League of Ireland announce first four live games in SSE Airtricity Men’s Premier Division for 2024

The League of Ireland and RTÉ can confirm four fixtures have been selected for live broadcast in the SSE Airtricity Men’s Premier Division ahead of the new season.
Champions Shamrock Rovers will welcome Dundalk on the opening night at Tallaght Stadium while last season’s top three will meet at The Ryan McBride Brandywell Stadium on Friday, 1 March when Derry City meet Sports Direct Men’s FAI Cup winners St. Patrick’s Athletic.
Newly promoted Galway United meet Stephen Bradley’s side on 15 March, while the Dublin Derby between Shamrock Rovers and Bohemians will be broadcast on RTÉ2 on Friday, 29 March.
Fixtures selected for live broadcast on RTÉ2 television:
- Shamrock Rovers v Dundalk, Tallaght Stadium – originally scheduled for Friday, 16 February, 2024 at 20:00 will now take place at 19:45 on the same date
- Derry City v St Patrick’s Athletic, The Ryan McBride Brandywell Stadium – Friday, 1 March, 2024 at 19:45
- Galway United v Shamrock Rovers, Eamonn Deacy Park – Friday, 15 March, 2024 at 19:45
- Shamrock Rovers v Bohemians, Tallaght Stadium – Friday, 29 March, 2024 at 20:00 will now take place at 19:45 on the same date
A further fixture on Friday, 5 April, 2024 will be broadcast live on RTÉ2 television from the SSE Airtricity Men’s Premier Division with the selection to be confirmed in due course.
