Our school participated in the Cork Primary Schools’ Sports in Páirc Uí Chaoimh in May. We are delighted to have had some success in the sprints where Olan Farrell and Con Lynch came 1st and 2nd respectively in the same race! Matthew Khan Moss achieved 2nd place in his sprint and Simon Murphy finished 3rd in his sprint. Our junior relay team of Marc Jones, Emmanuel O’Neal, Jack Savage & Eoin Kelly finished 3rd in their race. All other members of the team ran very well and were unlucky to finish outside the medals. These are: George Keating, Jack McCarthy, Charlie Kelleher, Jake Ryan, Darragh Burke, Conor Mackey, Warren Devlin, Ross Bell & Travor Sawyer.
Thanks to Mr. Fleming for training the team and those who supported us on the day.
