Cobh Confraternity Band will be joined by the renowned soprano Mary Montgomery in the Church of the Most Holy Rosary, Midleton on Saturday July 28.
The Band have been keeping busy during the year with performances at both the May and Eucharist Processions in Cobh and The Titanic Commemoration Ceremonies. It is an opportune time for the band and Mary to come together again and perform what promises to be an uplifting experience for the parishioners.
Miltown Malbay native, Mary, who now lives in Midleton has huge experience of performing with Church Choirs both as a soloist and chorister, has a Diploma in Musical Theatre in addition to being an associate of the London College of Music (ALCM).
Traditional Hymns will be performed on the night by Mary and the Confraternity Band and they will also be performing together again at a fund-raising concert in October of which details will follow.
