U12 Danone National Cup
Bunratty United (0) v Springfield Ramblers, (2)
Completed a successful five and a half hour round trip to Schull by beating Bunratty FC 2-0 in the U12 3rd Round Danone National Cup. Great squad commitment supported by loyal fans resulted in our best result of the season.
Playing on a waterlogged pitch, Springfield Ramblers went 1-0 up after a great through ball from Fionn Duggan released Tom Noonan who converted like a seasoned pro by lobbing the keeper and putting us 1 up. Bunratty had their chances and hit the bar with a free kick before half time. Joshua Crone came on just after the start of the 2nd half and scored a cracking goal shortly afterwards.
This was a truly “man of the match” by all 15 players. Thanks to Bunratty FC who made us very welcome and the lads thoroughly enjoyed the pizza provided afterwards!
U13 National Cup
Corkbeg (1) v Springfield Ramblers(3)
Goals scored by Nathan O Connell-2 Eoin Kelly-1. Best on day were Mikey Foley, Ciaran Griffin, Nathan O Connell & Morgan Dillion Hilton
U15 National Cup
Wilton United (4) v Springfield Ramblers (1)
S/R’s under 15s travelled to last season double winners in the national cup on Saturday morning and despite top drawer displays from Dylan Higgins, Alex Ryan and Evan O Mahony were unable to contain a powerful Wilton team losing out 4.1, Odhran Kidney Power scored our goal
Under 14 Girls
Richmond 1 v Springfield Ramblers 2
An outstanding team effort helped the girls to a great away win in tough conditions. Goals were scored by Lauren Egboloniu and Gemma Savage, Eireann Leahy and Ava Field put in great performances. Well done all.

Springfield Ramblers (7) v Lyre Rovers (0)
The boys beat Lyre Rovers 7-0. Goals from Calvin Murphy (2), Garan Manley (2), Cian Darcy, Adam Horgan, Darren Murphy. Best Charlie Fleming, Keenan O Flynn, Dave Burke. A solid defence lead by Adam O Sullivan and a real team performance..
