Cobh produced their best display of the season so far as they overcame fellow promotion side hopefuls Leeds. A great team all around with every player playing superbly.

A good solid performance in the opening 25 minutes by a weakened Springfield side. Midleton scored 2 soft goals against the run of play to lead 2-0 at the break. Springfield scored through Evan Leary to make it 2-1. The away side three more soft goals to make it 5-1 at the finish. Best on day for Springfield was Shane Kensal who played well despite the result.
