International Representatives News – Republic of Ireland Call Ups
Springfield Ramblers Adam O Sullivan has been selected by the Republic of Ireland Under 15 team to play in two games at the Wolverhampton Wanderers Academy in early March 2013. These games will be against Wolverhampton Wanderers and Brighton & Hove Albion AFC. Adam is following in the footsteps of his father Eoin who represented his country at schoolboy’s level. In his short career to date Adam has represented and captained his county from under 11 to under 15. He captained Cork last season at the prestigious Kennedy Cup tournament in Limerick. His displays in Limerick brought him to the attention of the Irish selectors and Adam attended seven training sessions and trials in Dublin prior to his selection for the trip to England.

Adam has captained Springfield Ramblers to the league championship at U12 level and to runners up at U11 and U14. A skilful and stylish centre back Adam has excellent positional sense and ball distribution and is a player to watch for the future. All in Springfield Ramblers congratulate Adam on his selection and wish him well on his trip.

U15 Squad Wishes Adam And Dave well.
The management team of our under 15’s would like to congratulate Dave Coffey and Adam o Sullivan on their recent Irish trials call up. Both players performed really well against very strong opposition. Dave just missed out this time and hopefully in the near future he will get his opportunity. Adam got picked and is travelling with the Ireland U15 team to England, where they will play Brighton F.C. and Wolverhampton Wanderers.

The lads have performed really well this season and have worked extremely hard in training, they have shown great attitude, commitment and fully deserve the success that they are getting. To get to this level it takes a lot of hard work, sacrifices and dedication and hopefully other players in the club will take inspiration in what the lads have achieved. Springfield Ramblers soccer club has a fantastic record in producing players in international football and long may it continue.

Well done again from all your teammates and coaches.
