U15 National Cup
Hartstown Huntstown 0 Springfield Ramblers 1 (AET)
Rob Hughes scored the only goal of this National Cup Round of 16 tie to put Springfield Ramblers into the quarter final. They will now face Dublin side Woodlawn in the quarter final. Congratulations to all the lads.
U13 Cup
Cobh Ramblers 3 Kinsale 3 (AET)
Cobh Ramblers won 5-4 on penalties.
This cup tie had it all. A fairly even match ended 2-2 with goals from Odhran Kidney Power and Peter Dennis. In extra time Dean Moran swept home a cross from Adam Carroll, before Kinsale levelled with minutes to go. Both teams missed a penalty in the dreaded shoot out with Adam Carroll slotting home the winner. Special mention to our goalie Michael McCall Walsh who kept us in in with superb saves, and Dominic Roche in defence, but man of the match was Odhran Kidney Power who ran all day for the team and never gave up. Well done to all the lads.
This result sees the Ramblers side paired against their friends and rivals Springfield Ramblers in the next round. The game will be played in St Colman’s Park on Sunday next March 4th at 11am and this will be the biggest game in these lads young lives to date. The club would ask that the public would come along to St. Colman’s Park on Sunday to give the lads all the support they deserve.

Douglas Hall 2 Springfield Ramblers A 2
After conceding 2 soft goals in the 1st half there was great spirit shown to come back and level this game. Cian Doherty scored both goals. Our 1st goal came 10 mins into the 2nd half after some fantastic football from Eoin Kelly, Mark Canty and Tobi Ohsikoya with Cian Doherty on the end of a great cross from Tobi. The 2nd came with 10 mins remaining again Cian Doherty finishing a great passing move. The final 10 mins were very tense with both teams going close with Douglas being foiled in the final min with a clearance off the line from Cian O’Rourke that ricocheted off the crossbar back out to a Douglas forward, the resulting shot brought a fine save from PJ O’Regan. A draw was a fair result.

Wilton United 0 Springfield Ramblers 3
A good away win with a solid team performance which saw Springfield dominate the first half scoring two goals from corner kicks. The team worked well as a unit & kept Wiltons shots to a minimum. The third goal was scored on the counter attack to seal the win. Goals scored by Morgan Dillon Hilton 2 & Mikey Foley. Well done to all, a deserved win.
Umbro 11 Group 7
