Springfield Ramblers B 5 Castleview 7
You will not see a better game this weekend. It had an outstanding hat-trick by the impressive Man of the Match Evan O’Leary. There was goal-mouth action on every attack and excellent football by both teams. Both teams where applauded by both sets of mangers and supporters for their endeavours at the end
The Cobh lads started strong and had their nose in front after 4 minutes thanks to a great finish by Cian Donnachie. Then Castleview equalised and then shortly after went 2-1 up.

This was an end to end game and when half time came the score was 4-2 to Castleview, the second Cobh goal being scored by the outstanding Evan O’Leary. It was goal for goal in the second half with O’Leary getting his second and third of the game. Cian Doherty also got amongst the goals.

The Cobh lads had a great chance to level it at 6 all, but were very unlucky and Castleview broke and scored. Each of the fourteen lads played their part. Well done to the home team considering they have not played since the middle of November.
