Summer Activities for Kids at Cobh Library

Why not join in the fun at one of the free workshops running at the library this July and August. Just sign up at the desk or you can contact the library on 021 4811130 or by emailing cobh.library@corkcoco.ie
Places are limited so please book early to avoid disappointment.
Tuesday 24th July (11am – 1pm) – ‘Busy Bees’ – a messy make-and-do workshop for 5 – 7 year olds where you create magical winged creatures with Sineád.
Friday 10th August (11am – 1pm – ‘Charming Creatures’ -Invent your own creatures and make them into crafty key-rings with some help from Sineád.
Friday 17th August (11am – 1pm) – ‘Masquerade Madness’ – an arts and crafts workshop with a festival feel. Make a mess while making your own mask with glue, glitter, feathers and lots of fun!
Thursday 23rd August (11am – 1pm) – ‘Introduction to Drawing’ – a simple drawing class, suitable for older children who will learn basic drawing techniques as well as designing their own work of art.
All Summer Long – ‘Have a Ball’ – join our summer reading challenge. See if you can read more than everyone else to get to the top of the library leader board.
