Captain Paul Roche, on behalf of P&O ferries, presenting the first prize to
Mrs Ann Cullimore

Jonathan Noonan has just turned 15 and is fighting a rare form of cancer. Originally from Cobh he now lives in Nenagh. His Aunt, Mrs. Ann Butler, organised a bring and buy complete with prizedraw raffle in the Cobh GAA Hall. One of the highlights of the night was the draw of prizewinners with first prize a return trip for a car and four people, which was very kindly donated by P&O Ferries. The first ticket out of the box was purchased on the night and went to the lucky winner, Ann Cullimore of Cobh. This was the culmination of the hard work by Mrs. Butler, her family, friends and the people of Cobh. Many local businesses donated to the fundraising and the final tally of money raised was EUR2,500, a huge amount in such difficult times.

Captain Paul Roche, an uncle of Jonathon Noonan, presented the first prize on behalf of P&O Ferries. We wish Ann and all prizewinners the very best of luck and we thank everyone who supported this Raffle and the Bring and Buy, which was an important source of funding for Jonathon Noonan´s cancer treatment in Our Ladies Children´s Hospital in Crumlin.

Further details can be found on Facebook “Fundraising for Jonathan”. If anyone would like to support Jonathon in his treatment please look the group up or make contact with Ann Butler through Butlers Buses of Cobh.
