Tidy Towns News
On another fine Saturday eleven Tidy Towns volunteers continued to make the approaches to Cobh look better. A huge amount of dead plant material was cleared away near the railway bridge in Carrigaloe and litter was picked around the area and from the strand.
Cobh Tidy Towns will plant Hydrangeas on the seaside bank in the next few months and also place a boat of flowers on the triangle of ground near the railway.
Tidy Towns volunteers meet at the playground on the Five Foot Way every Saturday at 10 am and at the Crow’s Nest at 12 noon every Monday. Do come along even if it is only for an hour.
