Tidy Towns Success! – Mayor Qunilan

As you are all now well aware, the committee of Cobh Tidy Towns were invited to attend the National Awards ceremony that took place in the Helix in Dublin last Monday afternoon. On behalf of Cobh Town Council and the people of Cobh I would like to congratulate Cobh Tidy Towns for the fantastic achievement of winning a bronze medal. This is the recognition that your efforts and dedication truly deserve.

What Cobh Tidy Towns has achieved goes much further than just removing litter, painting and planting, even though that in itself is a huge achievement. I believe that Cobh Tidy Towns has been the biggest catalyst for positivity and local pride in the town. In Cobh, we have a huge amount to be positive about and proud of and the efforts of Cobh Tidy Towns has played a huge part in exposing all that is great about our beautiful town.

Finally, on behalf of Cobh Town Council and the people of Cobh I would like to thank Cobh Tidy Towns for all your hard work and for the huge, positive impact you are having on our town. Cobh is extremely proud of your efforts and dedication.
