On Saturday 23rd October, eight volunteers tackled a variety of jobs. More of the seats were painted in the Promenade, the cleaning of the dead leaves from the Cordyline Palm Trees on the Five Foot Way continued and the leaves on the footpath on Ticknock hill were swept. We do realise that there are many more leaves to fall but we want to keep the main approach into the town looking well.
Many thanks to Alan Murphy of Eleven West Restaurant who arrived unexpectedly with Tea, Coffee and biscuits – it was a nice surprise and much appreciated. The work continues every Saturday at 10 am. Meet at the playground at the Five Foot Way at 10 am or phone Ursula on 085 1668271.
