Tourism Strategy Workshop 2013 – 2016

cobhtourism600x400A Strategy Workshop to kick start a new 3 year plan to develop the Tourism business in Cobh – Great Island will be held in the Jack Doyle Room of the Commodore Hotel, Cobh on Friday 22nd February from 2.00pm to 5.00pm. An invitation is extended to everyone who is a stakeholder in the current and future development of Tourism in Cobh to attend and share their experience and vision for our shared future. Stakeholders include Tourist attractions, Accommodation providers, Restaurants and Cafés, all retailers, Local Authority representatives, the many community and sporting groups that organise events and individuals with an interest in the development of Cobh.

The Workshop will be independently facilitated by Martin Brennan of Proactive Management. Martin is an Occupational Psychologist with over 30 years HR and Training experience. His consultancy and training work have brought him into close contact with the Electronics, Pharmaceutical and Service Industries. He has also worked extensively in the SME Sector. Martin holds a BBS (Honours Degree) from the University of Limerick and MA (Honours Degree) in Occupational Psychology from University College Cork. He is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development and a Member of the Irish Institute of Training and Development. He has developed, delivered and validated training interventions for national and international clients, in areas such as Management Development, Coaching, Personal Development, Teambuilding, Training and Change Management.
