Cobh Tidy Towns volunteers have been busy over the last few weeks participating in the National Spring clean along with Residents Associations around Great Island. This weekend we joined with Rushbrooke Rowing Club and Cove Sailing Club as part of Clean Coasts week to clean up the beaches here. Liner season has begun in Cobh and visitors have been arriving in large numbers with Lusitania 100 Commemorations over the last week.
The 2015 entry form for the National Tidy Towns competition is in progress and adjudication commences in mid June. Can you help us “Go for Gold”. Our volunteers continue to meet at 10am on Saturdays by the playground on the Five foot Way. All are welcome to join us to help keep Cobh clean.
