On another fine Saturday ten volunteers worked for two hours cleaning the footpaths on another section of the High Road between the shop and the Cross Roads. The growth on the fence at the Cross River Ferry site was also tackled.
As was highlighted in the St. Patrick’s Day Parade, FREE Dog Pooper Scoopers are available from Cobh Town Council. We look forward to the day that irresponsible dog owners are too embarrassed to let their dogs foul the pavements and Green Areas of the Town.
We also look forward to the Litter Warden and Traffic Warden taking all of his job description seriously and the issuing of fines to dog owners that break the law.
