The Dawson Creek Kiwanis Community Band from Canada performed in a sundrenched Promenade on Wednesday last. The band’s visit to Cobh was facilitated by Cobh Tourism and they performed in front of a large and appreciative audience. As well as the 30 musicians there was also a troupe of majorettes.
There will be a virtual Brass Band festival as part of Australia Day in Cobh on 24th July. The Band of 1 Southern Brigade, the CJKickham Band and Cobh Confraternity Band will perform throughout the afternoon from 2 pm.
