Sunday morning, 24th June saw the students, parents and staff of Gaelscoil Uí Éigeartaigh heading out for our school walk. Students were treated to a small picnic and goodie bags courtesy of our local Supermacs on completion of the walk. Well done to all those who completed the walk and go raibh míle maith agat to all the families (and pets) who participated!
We would like to thank Carl, from Supermacs Cobh, for providing goodie bags for all participants, to Justin from Lettertec for printing the Sponsorship Cards and completion Certificates for the children. Thank you to the parents who acted as stewards, made sandwiches and helped out in the running of the school walk. Last, but not least, we would also sincerely like to thank all those who sponsored our students for the walk.

Lá Gearmáinise 2012
Bhí Lá Gearmáinise again sa scoil ar an 18ú Meitheamh 2012. The infant classes performed German songs for the rest of the school. Mhaisigh Rang a ciúig an halla le póstaerí, balúin, agus bratacha Gearmáinise. Sixth Class performed a drama which was thoroughly enjoyed by all. Ansin bhí seans ag gach duine féachaint ar cartúin ón Ghearmáin. Ag an deireadh bhron Rang a sé ‘Shultüten’ ar Rang a ceathair a bheidh ag foghlaim an Gearmáinis an bhliain seo chugainn. Sixth Class also received Certificates for their participation in the Modern Languages Pilot Project for the last two years.
