Our second final of the season, Under 15 Imokilly Plate final V’s Dungourney on Thurs Night, unfortunately did not go to plan. The expectation was to build upon the great work of the joint U!4/U16 campaigns and earn a well deserved medal at home on Thursday night in the top field. In a close match which was level at half time, our girls strode into a deserved 2 point lead and with 2 mins left on the clock it seemed we would get our just rewards…then how painful… a three goal exchange over the next four minutes should see our girls loose out by a single point…Heart wrenching to say the least. But well done on a great season girls and good luck with the Imokilly trials over the coming weeks.
FIXTURE…Junior County League Final….Next Saturday 13th Oct @ 2pm in Castle Rd….All support welcome and greatly appreciated.
