The Cobh & Harbour Chamber are organising a seminar entitled ‘Innovation – The Key to Success’ at the Fota Island Resort on Friday February 1 from 9am-1pm. “The seminar is aimed at inspiring all those involved in business, to help you generate ideas to grow and increase profitabilityt.” said Jo English, Development Manager, Cobh & Harbour Chamber.
There will be an experienced team of speakers who will share their experience and know-how with the audience on how innovation in business can be the too to help you reach success.
“In the current economic climate, we all need to learn how to harness innovation to address chalenges in our business.” Jo continued.
Guest speakers on the day will be Sean Gallagher, Joe Aherne, Neil O’Carroll, Cormac Fitzgerald and Niall Hughes. Sean, Entrepeneur and Writer with the Sunday Independent and formerly from The Dragons Den will be speaking about ‘Managing your business in a down turn.’ Chief Executive from The Leading Edge Group, Joe Aherne will be imparting knowledge on ‘How to successfully launch your business abroad.’
Neil O’Carroll is the Lead Executive for Phillips 66, Whitegate Refinery will be speaking ahout ‘The future of Cork Energy Park and its implimentations for Cork Harbour.’ Cormac Fitzgerald FCPA
represents the Bluehaven Food Company and his talk is about ‘Using innovationto climb out of a recession.’ Finally Niall Hughes who is the Director of Business Development from Connect Ireland will be speaking about ‘Rewards for introducing Ireland.’
