Cobh CoderDojo will resume at Bunscoil Rinn an Chabhlaigh, Rushbrooke, in November 2013!!
Coder Dojo is a coding club for young people aged 9-18 years who are interested in writing computer software, building websites, developing computer games and using many different technologies in a fun and easy-going atmosphere.
After our successful programme earlier this year, we are delighted to let you know that Cobh CoderDojo is about to resume. We are making a number of changes and will hold an information session from 11am to 1pm on Saturday, 2nd November. Young people aged 9-18 years from all schools in the Cobh area are welcome! During this session we will demonstrate the 3 streams that will be mentored :-
•Scratch 2.0,
•HTML (create your own webpages) and
•Processing (starting with Java) – suitable for ages 12+
We will run a 5 week term starting on 9th November 2013 and finishing on 7th December 2013. Each session runs from 10am to 1pm. This has been designed so that knowledge can be built up over the 5 week term.
Interested? Come along to our information session to meet us to see what it’s all about.
