Great Island Projects currently have 2 vacancies on its Community Employment Scheme. These positions are developmental opportunities, no experience is necessary. Accredited training will be provided to support your career
1. Administrative Assistant/Gallery Assistant
The position will be in the above area. Duties will include general office work – opening and closing of galleries; helping with installations of exhibition, erection of stage, greeting the public and some light housekeeping work.
2. Assistant Museum Curator
The position will be in the above area. Duties will include cataloguing, research, dealing with the public and light housekeeping work.
Please note eligibility to participate on CE is generally linked to those who are 25 years of age or over and in receipt of an Irish social welfare payment for 1 year or more.
