Our Aim is to serve – and we have been doing just that! With the continued local support we received during our Food Appeal we helped over 100 needy families in Cobh over Christmas and through the New Year.
We would like to thank our families, friends and supporters. Thank you to the Management and Staff of Garvey’s Supervalu, Keating’s Londis and Murphy’s Centra. We gratefully received a lovely suprise when Fr McCarthy kindly considered us for a generous donation. Thank you 25th Cobh Scouts for your kind donation to our Food Appeal. A special thank you goes to Paul O’Halloran for his continued support and generosity to Cobh Lions.
Our School Choir Christmas Concert raised €1,200 this year which we are delighted to say was donated to a fantastic local group working to get a new playground for the town, Cobh Playground Fundraising Project. (See photo) Thank you to Jack and his team in the Heritage Centre, to all who supported the event the teachers and student stars from St. Mary’s, Bellevue NS, Gaelscoil Cobh, St Joseph’s and the Bunscoil. Walterstown we missed you last year! Pencil us in for the second Thursday in December.
