SECAD is planning to run a Men’s wellness, fitness & stress reduction programme beginning next Tuesday 11th October 10am-1pm for a six week period in the Cobh Community Centre. This programme aims to provide a positive, high energy learning space for men to develop their confidence and resiliency.
It provides a valuable opportunity to develop tools for men to maintain their own wellness & manage stress effectively through a variety of different activities including interesting, & relaxed exercises suitable for everyone. All learning is done in a fun, easy going environment.
In addition, participants will have an opportunity to take time to figure out their own goals and how to achieve them as well as explore lifelong learning options. The programme is free of charge and is open to men from a diverse range of backgrounds including those who are unemployed, part time employed, those living in low income families and members of new communities etc.
Anyone interested can contact the SECAD office on 021 4613432 to receive more information or to reserve a place.
