Here is the weather report for the month of December recorded by Rang 5/6. Rian Connick & Jack Barrett recorded the rainfall and found that 128mm fell altogether during the month. We had 16 wet days and the wettest day was on the St. Stephen’s Day when 20mm fell. 13mm of rain fell on Christmas Day! The temperature was recorded by Eoin Griffin & Donncha Leahy and they found that it ranged from a low of -1 degrees on the night of the 11th to a high of 13 degrees Celsius on the 6th of the month.
Luke Meaney & Josh Collins recorded the wind and they found that the most common wind was from the South/West (14 days) with North/West in second place (8 days). The strongest wind was a South/East Force 8, on the Beaufort Scale, which we had on the 6th & 12th of the month. Beimid ar ais an mhí seo chugainn. Slán go fóil.
