On Saturday morning, 13 volunteers came out to support the Cobh Tidy Towns regular clean up campaign. The strand at Carrigaloe and at the Cross River Ferry was cleared of thirty bags of rubbish. The large green area was also strimmed.
On Harbour View, more volunteers painted the poles and the railings near the Wolfe Tone Bar and both Harbour View and the Preaching House steps were swept.
Regular clean ups continue every Saturday at 10 am and Tuesday at 6.30 pm. Meet promptly at the playground at the Five Foot Way or call Ursula on 085 1668271 for more details
