The previously published water restrictions will remain in place over the weekend as there are still a number of identified breaks that need to be repaired. The Council staff will be working to repair these over the coming days. You may have noticed an improvement over the last day or two, this is due to the fact that many of the major breaks have already been repaired resulting in an increased pressure flow. Once again, I would like to take this opportunity to acknowledge the continued hard work of Cobh Water Curator Guss, and Ger O’Hora’s team in Glanmire over the past number of days.
Finally, I would like to wish everyone a Happy & Peaceful New Year.
