Accomodation sought for Italian Bedizzole Marching Band

The arrival in Cobh of the Bedizzole Marching Band from Lombardy in Italy for Cork Rebel Week will provide a musical spectacle rarely seen in our town. The 48 band members and their travelling companions will arrive in Cobh on Thursday 17th October and leave again in the early hours of Monday 21st October. The band members will be treated to a warm Cobh welcome and action packed immersion in the history and culture of Cobh.
On Sunday the band will perform at a number of events in Cobh and will be treated to an American wake “Cobh style” in the Commodore Hotel prior to their journey home. See You in Cobh is seeking host families to accommodate the band members that range in age from twelve to twenty.
