Breaking The Silence Very Grateful For Local Generosity

Published

on

Breaking The Silence would like to take this opportunity to sincerely thank the community of Cobh for their generosity in supporting our 2010 Flag Day which took place on 25th November. A total of €1602 was raised and all of this money will be invested in helping to create a Suicide Safer Community by connecting the person at risk of Suicide with life preserving resources. Given today’s economic climate it was a phenomenal response from the people of Cobh and is very much appreciated. A special thank you to the large group of volunteers who assisted with collecting on the day and to Alan Murphy and his staff at Eleven West Restaurant Cobh for providing refreshments on the day and assisting with collections.

Breaking The Silence will run their next Safe Talk Workshop at Cobh Convent of Mercy on 15th December starting at 6.45pm.
