Continuing the great work being undertaken by the Springfield Ramblers club at the VEC grounds Alan Wyse will be performing a clean-up of the running and walking track around the football pitch on tomorrow (Thursday) morning. At the request of the club Alan will be restoring the track to its original surface and width, removing all the grass and weed growth which has become overgrown on the surface of the path over the years.
This will be a welcome upgrade to this fine facility and will further enhance the amenity at the Community College. This will be a great photo opportunity for the local media to focus on a good news item in the light of all the good work being done by the local Tidy Towns committee in the last few months.
