Last Wednesday, Sean Kelly MEP welcomed Councillor Sinead Sheppard and Cork East YFG to the European Parliament in Brussels. “The group enjoyed a tour of the Parliament and had the opportunity to attend the Culture and Education Committee. Orlaith McCarthy was also in attendance. There was also a public hearing on Cinema and European Identities in progress during the group’s visit. “I was delighted to discuss at length with Councillor Sheppard, the issues affecting Cobh and most importantly the Haulbowline toxic dump and I am currently awaiting a date for the hearing of the Haulbowline Petition” said Mr.Kelly
