Nine volunteers, including some new faces joined the Tidy Towns efforts this Saturday. After the heavy rain of the past few days it was decided to clean the town centre of the debris deposited by the wind and rain. The area from the Museum to the cambers including the Squares was swept of leaves, litter and pebbles and now looks much more presentable.
The work will continue next Saturday when volunteers will meet at the Five Foot Way playground at 10 am or phone Ursula on 085 1668271 if anyone would like to do some work during the week.
