At the recent Cobh and Harbour Chamber Dinner, in the Radisson Blu hotel Little island, it was with great pride that we announced that the Phillips 66 business of the year was awarded to Mr Frank Hedderman of the Belvelly Smoke house fine smoked fish produce. The business is now 32 years old and supplies the finest smoked fish to many famous hotels and stores in Ireland and the UK.
His customers include, Ballymaloe hotel, Fortnum and Masons, Harrods and many celebrity chef restaurants.He has a stall in the English Market in Cork for many years. We wish him continued success.
Our keynote speaker was his excellency the British Ambassador to Ireland Mr Dominick Chilcott, who spoke about the ever closer friendship and economic ties and co-operation between Ireland and the UK and looked forward to a bright future in trading not only with each other but together winning joint contracts on a global scale
