Last Sunday Cobh saw the arrival of over fifty Ford Model T cars, hosted by Cobh Classic Car Club. The car owners were on a 6 day tour around Ireland. After seeing and hearing about the previous vintage car display for Titanic 100, decided to visit Cobh.
It was a spectacular display of vintage motoring history, with cars and vans from Ireland, UK and USA, dating from 1908 to 1927. The weather was an added bonus with the highly polished brass gleaming in the mid-June sunshine. Young and old enjoyed the unique display of cars from a long gone age.
Cobh Classic Car Club will continue on in the future to invite and arrange such events and would like to thank all those who helped with the arrangements in the parking up of so many vehicles and also to those cafes and restaurants who provided free refreshments to our guests.
