Cobh Hockey Club would like to extend its utmost condolences to the family of Phil Agger (Murphy) RIP who has sadly passed away. Phil played a huge part in the Club from its beginning and she was an integral part in its early league and cup successes. Her skill on the pitch was second to none and it was no surprise when she went on to play for Munster and the Club was immensely proud of this achievement. She later brought this love of hockey to Colaiste Muire and many of the pupils she mentored are now current members of the Club. Her loss to all those who had the joy of knowing her as a club mate, friend and particularly her family cannot be described and we extend our deepest sympathies to all her family particularly John, Niamh and Siobhan. The Club would also like to extend our deepest sympathies to Club members Mari and Elaine Moynihan (and their mother Margaret) on the recent sad loss of their Aunt Elizabeth Moynihan.
