Cobh (Great Island) Community Centre held its annual Christmas Arts and Crafts Fair on Sunday. With over 40 tables selling home made goods from Jewellery, cakes and cards, Quilts to home made Christmas logs and wreaths. There was plenty of Christmas Spirit with everyone enjoying the festive theme and buying up all their special Christmas pressies.
Organiser Charlie O’Connell commented on how happy he was to see the main hall full to capacilty and hopes that everyone will come back again next year. He continued “The Community Centre is a great venue for these events and its great to see locals and visitors alike supporting their community. Even with the economic downturn people still came out to support the centre and community. Craft fairs like this one give people the opportunity to show off their creative talents to family, friends and the wider community.”
