Cobh Traditional Sail Regatta 24th – 26th June

Published

on

The inaugural Cobh Traditional Sail Regatta will be held from 24th-26th June on the waters adjacent to the amphitheatre of the town of Cobh. The event is organised in association with The Cove Sailing Club and the Naval Service Yacht Squadron.

Berthage will be provided at the quay pontoons (approx. 70 meters), where a warm welcome will be extended, complemented by the comprehensive programme of events. The Regatta racing, attracting a fleet of local and visiting traditional and classic boats will be marshalled by the Cove Sailing Club.

A Parade of Sail will attract prizes for an unusual variety of categories (for those who never get a prize). The Cobh Traditional Sail Regatta is an opportunity to enjoy both sea and shore activities with welcome barbeques, traditional music, fancy dress and an eventful prize giving ceremony.
