Carillon News
Cobh Cathedral Carillonneur Adrian Gebruers visited St Petersburg recently to perform on the fine modern 51-bell Carillon of the Cathedral of Sts Peter and Paul, the mausoleum of the Russian Czars. Though the carillon was first introducded to Russia in the eighteenth century by Peter the Great very few original bells still remain. Adrian Gebruers was also guest at the Faculty of Arts of the State University where Professor Jo Haazen showed him around the splendid facilities for teaching carillon, organ and harpsichord.
