On Saturday, 9th June, Cobh will step back in time as a Victorian Picnic will be held in the Promenade from 2 pm. The magnificent Cruise liner, Caribbean Princess will be by the quayside for the day and a group of Cobh ladies will dress in clothes of the era of Titanic to welcome the visitors from all over the world.
The picnic is free and everyone is welcome. Bring a basket and a blanket or buy the best of local produced food and home made ice cream in the fun filled atmosphere of Cobh’s Promenade. Vintage games, Kiddies Victorian Dress, Bested Dressed lady, entertainment by Cobh Confraternity Brass and Reed Band, Crab fishing and much more.
The Caribbean Princess will sail at 6 pm to a traditional Cobh farewell with music from Cobh Confraternity Band on the quayside from 5.30 pm.
