Published

Many you will have noticed two signs errected on the Fota Road recently. Cobh Tidy Towns is delighted to announce that it has partnered up with Fota Wildlife Park who has kindly agreed to sponsor a weekly clean of the Fota road by a road cleaning contractor. This is called “adopting” the road and is an extension of the “adopt a road” scheme in East Cor…k. Two Cobh Tidy Towns volunteers performed a weekly clean of the Fota road for the past four years to ensure clean and welcoming roads for visitors to Fota Wildlife Park and to Cobh and they are now helping Cobh Tidy Towns with other projects.

Cobh Tidy Towns would like to express its sincere thanks to Mr.Sean McKeown, Director of Fota Wildlife Park, and his team for supporting Cobh Tidy Towns and a cleaner and more welcoming visit to Fota Wildlife Park and to our heritage town, Cobh. Fota Wildlife Park is committed to waste recycling and a cleaner environment and we thank them so much for their support.See More
