Foireann iomanaiochta rang 4 a bhuaigh comortas faoi dhion I Little Island le deanai. Beidh siad ag dul ar aghaidh anois chun imirt I gcraobh an chontae I mi Marta.

Our 4 th class boys who won the shield indoor hurling competition on Little Island recently. They won their first two games, both on a 4-0 scoreline. The boys showed great heart and spirit to win a pulsating final in which they trailed 2-0, 3-1, and 4-3 at different stages. They eventually won out 6-4 to become only the second team in the schools history to win this 4th class competition and qualify for the county finals in March. Maith sibh.

Gaelscoil celebrations continue

Ghlac foireann de dheichniúr ó rang a 5 páirt i ngníomhaíochtaí foirne a bhí ar siúl ag Coláiste Muire. Bhí an bua acu ar na foirne eile ar fad i gCóbh agus táimíd go léir ana bhródúil astu.

A team of ten from 5th class took part in team building exercises that was organised by the students and teachers in Coláiste Muire. 5th class were competing against the other schools in Cobh and they won. We in Gaelscoil Uí Éigeartaigh are extremely proud of them. Many thanks to the students and teachers in Coláiste Muire and also Darren O’ Sullivan who was there to celebrate with us.
