We are now coming into the Christmas season and Cobh & Harbour Chamber are once again facilitating the co-ordination of the 2014 Christmas lights display. As you are aware from previous years, the cost of erecting, dismantling and maintenance throughout the season necessitates us to fundraise. Cobh and Harbour Chamber along with Cobh Municipal District have come together in an effort to minimise the costs involved.
We know that the effort put in to lighting the town during the festive season is well appreciated by the people of Cobh. Over the coming weeks various fundraising events will be held in the town in order to raise the much needs funds to Light Up Cobh in 2014. Details of these fundraising events to follow, watch this space. If any Group has any fundraising ideas, please let us know. The lights will be turned on at the Christmas tree in the square on Friday 28th November at 5.00p.m.
We need the support of the people of Cobh in order to Light Up Cobh in 2014.
